ABOUT KARIUNGA GREENS.

Kariunga Greens Farm in Mukima, Nanyuki is ancestral land that had been used for subsistence farming for generations. Nkirote having completed her studies as an environmentalist in 2013 with support from Koome a trained agriculturist, they began farming for the local market. Having mastered the art of growing they were contracted by one of the largest exporters as a contract farmer for french beans at which they excelled and at one point were the largest supplier in the region. They say the rest is history – and over the years the farm has now transformed to a leading supplier of fresh herbs for the export market.
